Certificate of Christian Missions

   1. Program Description

This certificate program trains students with foundational knowledge and skills for ministry in other cultures. Students will ascertain missionary life, biblical basis of missions, and local church’s involvement with global missions. Graduates can serve as administration staffs or participants in local churches’ mission departments or Christian mission organizations.

   2. Admission Requirements

•  a completed application form
•  a high school diploma with a minimum GPA 2.0 or G.E.D.  Certificate
•  Two recommendation letters, one from a church pastor and the other from other pastor or           college/Seminary faculty
•  An Essay about Personal Christian Life Journey  in one to two pages
•  Two photos 
•  Application fee:  $60

   3. Components of the Program and Time Limit for Completion

The program consists of 18 semester units. The course of study usually spans a period of one year. Students must complete their study within three years, beginning on the date of their first registration for courses. A student must carry twelve or more units to be considered a full-time student. Those carrying fewer than nine units are considered part-time students.

   4. Graduation Requirements

•  A completion of all required course work of 18 credits with a minimum grade point  
   average  (GPA) of 2.5
•  A settlement of all financial obligations with the university

Certificate of Biblical Studies

   1. Program Description

This certificate program trains students with foundational knowledge and skills for Biblical Interpretations. Students will ascertain Biblical foundation of Mission, Biblical Interpretations and Biblical Theology, How to read the Old and New Testament. Graduates can serve as a future elder, pastor or educator in local churches.

•  a high school diploma with a minimum GPA 2.0 or G.E.D.  Certificate
•  Two recommendation letters, one from a church pastor and the other from other pastor or           college/Seminary faculty

Certificate of Pastoral Ministry

   1. Program Description

This certificate program trains students with foundational knowledge and skills for ministry in local church. Students will ascertain Christian worship and nurture, pastoral ministries, in the evangelistic and educational ministries of the church, or in counseling sessions, in leadership within the family and the church. Graduates can serve as a future elder, pastor, educator or spiritual leader in local churches.
